Recently, we proudly attended the Spring Edition of Veritage Miami, benefiting the United Way Center for Excellence in Early Education. The interactive dining experience welcomed hundreds of local food lovers and philanthropists to a guided cooking experience where top local chefs instructed diners, who also doubled as chefs, in preparing the night’s menu.
In addition to getting our hands dirty in the kitchen, the Hungry Post also took this opportunity to take the Instagram Takeover to a whole new level. Rather than having one chef take the reins of our precious platform, we invited all six participating chefs to take part in the Takeover.
One by one, the chefs took to the stage and, simultaneously, to Instagram and share their dishes with our Hungries. These included Alex Chang of Vagabond Restaurant & Bar, Justin Flit of Proof Pizza & Pasta, Bradley Kilgore of Alter, Brian Nasajon of Beaker & Gray, Julia Ning of Phuc Yea and Nicole Votano of Dirt. To see what you may have missed, check out the recap below:
Hey Hungries! It’s @thechefnicole and @chef.julia.ning taking over @thehungrypost to give you the behind-the-scenes at #VeritageMiami. Check out the prep for our Veal Cheek and Foie Grois Dumplings with fresh local veggies, Florida Rock Shrimp, Dr Pepper and black vinegar dipping sauce and peanut nuoc cham. Keep #HungryPosting!
Prepare to be hungry, Hungries! We are @Brad_Kilgore and @alx_chang taking over @thehungrypost at @VeritageMiami.
