If this week has left you feeling like a train wreck, chances are you look like one, too. Maybe you’ve been sipping on more gin than juice at WMC. Well, it’s time to get some food in your system, Hungries! Take note because we’ve got some brunch options for all.
DÔA | Miami Beach
What happens when a Chinese and Japanese move to Peru? They meet in the kitchen. That’s how we get three cuisines in one at DÔA. And when they transfer to Miami Beach, we meet them for a weekend brunch. Start with the DÔA Cooler—honestly, you’ve had enough to drink, but—it is practically necessary at this point. Then we recommend you go for a hearty dish like the Braised Beef Short Rib topped with a fried egg. The Thai Fish is another amazing choice. Cover the white rice with the sauce in the fish and you’ll thank us later.
Bertoni Eatery | Brickell
If you plan to stay out by Bayfront Park late this Saturday, then you’re about a $5 (rhymes with goober) ride away from Bertoni. Place your order and go on upstairs for gorgeous views of Brickell Bay on a sunny day. Their brunch options range from sweet to savory. Order the Roasted Pork Panini—thinly sliced pork, prosciutto and all the cheese. And for a sweet taste, try their Raspberry Nutella Pancakes. Stack them, share them, and just get them!
Bakehouse Brasserie | Miami Beach
What’s better than brunch on Sunday? Oh, how about every other day? Bakehouse offers brunch during the week, so if your Sunday spills over to Monday just keep the mimosas coming. This bistro has got class and their Croissant French Toast is our choice for go-to dish with the bananas foster and cream cheese glaze dripping over.
Verde | Brickell
We came for looks and stayed for the food. This waterfront restaurant inside the PAMM offers brunch items from Shrimp & Grits to Steak and Eggs. Enjoy some clean air as you bite into the fresh taste in their seasonal ingredients. What better way to unwind from the week than enjoying a casual meal outdoors.
