For Key West vibes with a South Beach twist, this is where you take your friends to brunch when you’re craving strong cocktails and quality seafood.

Location: Sunset Harbor
Address: 1787 Purdy Ave, Miami Beach
Meal type: Dinner & Brunch
Cuisine: Seafood & Fish Bar
Ambiance: Casual local spot with a trendy flair
Background music: Think of your chill beach playlist complete with Jack Johnson, Sublime and Jimmy Buffett. You may also hear the ringing of a bell which notifies you and the restaurant crew when the fisherman have brought in their fresh catch!
What to wear: You’ll see everything from cover-ups and flip-flops to proper Sunday brunch attire. Either way, feel free to keep it casual for brunch.

What to expect: Quality seafood and glistening views of the harbor set the stage for Stiltsville Fish Bar, an upscale seafood shack with modern decor and laid-back vibes. The nautically inspired digs feature old fishing rods, black and white photos of Miami’s Stiltsville, beer taps made from swordfish bills, shell chandeliers, and tubs of ice filled with the fresh catch of the day. This dog-friendly restaurant serves up locally sourced dishes and southern hospitality and we are so happy that they expanded their hours to include a beyond delicious brunch menu.

The Menu:  Stiltsville offers a blend of comfort food and beachside classics made with locally sourced produce, seafood, and meat. Their brunch menu features dinner menu favorites like Shrimp N’ Grits, Sweet Corn Spoon Bread, Fish Dip, and Fried Chicken alongside brunch exclusives like the Hummingbird Waffle and Eggs Benedict. The expansive list features options for vegetarians, pescatarians, meatarians, and for those of us who are simply on a “see-food diet”. If you’re in the mood for a boozy brunch, their expansive beverage menu is “off the hook” with brunch classics like a Bloody Mary or unique tropical cocktails like the “Big Kahunalada for Two”.

What to order: We wish it was acceptable to have one of everything, but these were a few favorites.

Fish Dip: Featured on the “Snacks and Small Plates” portion of the menu, this dip is made from cherry wood smoked local catch and comes with homemade pickles and toasted saltines on the side. This is a good starter option to share but we won’t blame you if you decide to eat it on your own…with a spoon.

Sweet Corn Spoon Bread: We went all in on this hot and creamy corn dish topped with buttermilk cream, scallions and butter poached lobster. It is heaven in a skillet and we’ll be ordering it again, and again, and again.

Stiltsville Eggs Benedict: We opted to enhance this brunch staple with a blue crab cake and it was worth every single calorie. This dish features 2 crab cakes alongside local farm eggs, homemade English muffins, boggy bayou hollandaise, and a side salad with watermelon radish and champagne vinaigrette. This dish is more than enough for one, but we recommend sharing so you can sample other menu items as well.

Hummingbird Waffle: A decadent waffle topped with rum caramel, charred pineapple, pecans and mascarpone whip, this dish is the perfect sweet item to add to your brunch menu mix.

How to score a table: We recommend reservations as the restaurant just recently expanded it’s hours to include brunch and it’s already a hit with the locals
