The Craftsman
Location:  Brickell
Address: 900 S Miami Ave Suite 135, Miami, FL 33130
Meal type: Lunch, dinner, late night yums!
Cuisine: Sports bar delights
Ambiance: cozy & casual
Background music: Rihanna’s latest jams
What to wear: Casual/ your favorite sports tee!

What to expect: Located where Brother Jimmy’s once was, The Craftsman brings cool rustic vibes to the sports scene in Brickell. It has a unique concept that blends cocktail lounge with your favorite bar to catch a game or two. It’s open late hours, so it also makes for an awesome place to end your night!

The Menu: The menu is broken up into five sections: small plates, salads, sandwiches & wraps, charcuterie & cheese and *drum roll*…AVOCADO LOVERS. There is a large beer and cocktail list, with funky fun combinations and an on-point presentation too!

What to order: Don’t be afraid to feel a little basic when ordering from the Avocado Lovers section. It’s totally worth it because it’s damn good. We began with the Everything Avocado Toast, smashed avocado on gluten free bread (surprisingly tasty), topped with alfalfa sprouts, tomatoes, and spicy flakes.

We followed that deliciousness with The Craftsman’s latest new sandwiches: the French Onion Sandwich, steak, and Swiss cheese served with a side of onion soup broth for you to dip it in (my favorite!) and The Club Sandwich, a sports bar classic that should not be passed up on.

For drinks, our lovely bartender served us her top two: The Tequila Mockingbird (great for lovers of drinks with a kick!) and The Catcher In The Rye (great for lovers of whiskey).

Overall, this spot is ideal to get the gang back together for a night of sports, crafty cocktails and lots of flavorsome dishes.

Off the menu: We were quite impressed with their gluten-free options! Also, don’t miss out on Friday night’s live music. It starts at around 10 pm.
