Last weekend on Saturday, July 27, we teamed up with Tanqueray for our first Blurry Brunch of the season. Hungries joined us for an afternoon of drinks and the launch of a new brunch menu at Catina La 20 in Brickell. Tanqueray’s world-class mixologists curated a refreshing Tanqueray Happy Hour menu with gin inspired drinks served from 1 PM – 3 PM to get the day-long brunch rolling.
We took over the entire first and second floor of Cantina la 20’s Mexican Art Deco space, with two brunch seatings for those that couldn’t resist one of the best Mexican brunches in Miami.
Together with Executive Chef Santiago Gomez, we created a menu with Hungry Post Approved dishes that included huevos divorciados, enfrijoladas, chilaquiles verdes and more. Chef Santiago’s recipes are traditional, from various Mexican regions with modern cooking techniques showcasing delicious flavor profiles paired with aromatic Tanqueray Gin based drinks.
Oh and of course, there was no time for food comas as the seated brunch transformed into an afternoon and evening of dancing with music sets by DJ Cabrera and DJ Andre Ferro of Tucandela.
