The Hungry Post took over Melinda’s and ATV Records on June 4th and it was a smashing hit.
The first 300 guests to arrive at The Hungry Post’s Sunset Party secured a Jim Beam Highball Formation, consisting of a chicken or steak empanada with Cuban sazón on top of a Jim Beam Highball cocktail.
Hungries arrived early to enjoy the Jim Beam happy hour flowing with specialty cocktails until 7 PM.
Former owners of the beloved Electric Pickle are the creators of Melinda’s, a cocktail lounge and garden restaurant located in Downtown Miami. The charming space is rustic with mismatched antiques and hanging plants; featuring wood fire oven dishes and a raw bar. Think pulled pork sliders, red bell pepper ceviche, classic guacamole, Neapolitan pepperoni pizza and more.
Towards the back of the venue, Hungries witnessed a change of vibe as they entered ATV Records. Disco and groovy tunes by Brad Strickland played throughout the evening and yes, Andre Ferro brought his reggaeton tunes.
Some of the entrance ticket proceeds will go to #FeedTheChain, The Hungry Post’s social initiative to help keep South Florida’s food system alive.
By supporting The Hungry Post’s #FeedTheChain, we will continue to buy meals from local restaurants in Miami and feed the most vulnerable in our community.
The energy was unreal! See for yourself and make sure you don’t miss our next event.
