Introducing The Hungry Post Dinner Club, a series of  curated sit-down dinners to raise funds for #FeedTheChain

The Hungry Post hosted the first-ever pop-up dinner. In times of COVID-19, it’s been challenging to get together. This dinner had been brewing for some time now and after months of planning, it was time.

We teamed up with Acqua Panna & Jaguar Sun to bring you the first Hungry Post Dinner Club, an outdoor dining experience with seriously delicious food, paired with Acqua Panna’s natural spring water from Tuscany and the best cocktails in the game.

This sit-down dining experience was in one of the safest locations we’ve discovered in Miami. Jaguar Sun has done an EXCEPTIONAL job of operating a safe outdoor dining environment. They’ve proven time over time their commitment to an impeccable dining experience and setting the mood while keeping their guests safe.

The first Hungry Post Dinner Club Event took place on November 6th at Lot6 in Little River. 10% of the proceeds went to #FeedTheChain, The Hungry Post’s social initiative to help keep South Florida’s food system alive. The Hungry Post buys $10 meals from local restaurants in Miami and feeds the most vulnerable in our community.

The $100 prix fixe menu included the following :

A welcome spritz and our favorite cocktail, the Green Ghoul (tequila, mezcal, poblano, cucumber and lime).

  • Beausoleil oyster, grapefruit/pink peppercorn mignonette (with the option of adding more oysters)
  • parker roll
  • Raw crevalle jack, chilled watermelon broth, basil (delicious and fresh crudo)
  • Charred romaine, piquillo/hazelnut dressing, chives
  • Your choice of:
    • Whole-roasted duroc pork rack, pineapple, chili
    • Grilled leeks with a farm egg (Vegetarian)
  • Earl grey panna cotta, Florida citrus for dessert

Add on dishes included more oysters.

Ticket included tip and tax.

Dinner was accompanied by Acqua Panna and S. Pellegrino to enhance this new culinary experience. We also had the full cocktail and wine list available for purchase on-site.

Masks were required at all times with the exception of when you were seated. Groovy tunes were played throughout the night by Harry Mannil.

See you soon. Can’t wait to wave to you all at the next one.  In the meantime check out what you missed:
