Are you ready to get a little bit more intimate and a lot more interactive?! The Hungry Post Front Row Experiences are for those looking for an evening that will always include bites and cocktails. It’s a chance to connect with new friends with similar interests, especially when dining out.

We recently hosted our first cocktail-making class with Brugal at Amara at Paraíso‘s rooftop deck in Edgewater. On Thursday, June 22nd, Hungries joined us at this amazing Latin restaurant with the most incredible views of Biscayne Bay and Miami Beach for cocktails, food, and an interactive class.

To match the views, Chef Michael Schwartz and Chef Brandon Green put together a Latin-inspired menu of Amara at Paraiso’s greatest snacks and appetizers paired with crafted cocktails by Brugal. Dishes included Yuca Cheese Puffs; Short Rib Empanadas with smoked paprika aioli and pickled vegetables; and Smoked Fish Dip with vinaigrette, tostones, and cilantro.

Hungries received a welcome Brugal cocktail before the start of the cocktail-making class, the Maestro’s Welcome made with Brugal 1888, coconut syrup and coffee bitters. While enjoying a Latin picadera, talented mixologists went from table to table personalizing this Front Row Experience and teaching the soon-to-be cocktail masters how to make two delicious Brugal cocktails: an Espresso Martini made with Brugal 1888, coffee liqueur, fresh espresso, and simple syrup and a Negroni Dominicana made with Brugal 1888, Campari, and sweet vermouth.

This Front Row Experience included a table side cocktail class, three Brugal cocktails, and bites by Amara at Paraíso.
