Are you ready to get a little bit more intimate and a lot more interactive?! The Hungry Post Front Row Experiences are for those looking for an evening that will always include bites and cocktails. It’s a chance to connect with new friends with similar interests, especially when dining out.

We recently hosted a cocktail-making class at LEKU at the Rubell Museum. On Thursday, August 24th, Hungries joined us at this Basque-inspired restaurant in Allapattah for cocktails, tapas, and a fun and interactive class. Although this event was supposed to take place at LEKU’s beautiful outdoor garden, the rain had other plans. But if you know us, you know the show must go on, so we took over a dry, indoor area, with air conditioning as a plus.

Executive Chef Mikel Goikolea created an incredible Basque-inspired menu of LEKU’s greatest hits to perfectly pair with crafted cocktails by Brugal 1888 Rum. Dishes included Wild Mushroom Rice, Croquetas de Ibérico 5 Jotas, Short Rib Sliders, and the Seasonal Tomato, and Basil Cracker which tasted just like summer.

Hungries received a welcome Brugal 1888 Rum cocktail before the start of the cocktail-making class. While enjoying Basque tapas, talented mixologists went from table to table personalizing this Front Row Experience and teaching the soon-to-be cocktail masters how to make two delicious Brugal 1888 Rum cocktails.

This Front Row Experience included a table side cocktail class, three Brugal 1888 Rum cocktails, and bites by LEKU.
