The Hungry Post hosted the first Front Row Experience of the year: Solteros Edition at SipSip Calypso Rum Bar at the Mayfair. This singles event was presented by:

The dating apps aren’t working for you. You want to meet someone in person, the old-fashioned way. Except you’re running out of ideas on how to go about it. Plus managing your social and work life has become trickier. Can you relate?

A meet-cute would be…cute, but at this point, you’ve realized your time is precious and you’d wish someone would just put you in a setting with single people that have similar interests so you can meet them. Because they’re out there.

The Hungry Post has been creating the best events around cocktails, bites, and music for Miami locals since 2014. We’ve realized over time that we’ve helped couples find each other.

So for 2023, we came back with The Hungry Post Front Row Experience: Solteros Edition, an intimate and interactive singles experience. This event format required you to fill out a questionnaire to have a better understanding of who you are, and what you are looking for, in order to put together a group of like-minded individuals that we believed would hit it off.

Out of 400+ questionnaires, 60 were chosen to participate in the second Front Row Experience: Solteros Edition that took place on February 8th, 2022, at SipSip Calypso Rumbar at the Mayfair. Just a week before Valentine’s Day.

Participants purchased a $60 ticket that included three Maker’s Mark cocktails and light bites. After the solteros settled in and loosened up, The Hungry Post hosted an optional speed dating session with interactive board games to help break the ice. But, it didn’t end there, as guests were able to enjoy a quick cocktail making class to create their own Maker’s Mark cocktails! The night was a huge success and we can’t wait to host the next one.

This event was only for single people looking for love or something in between. If you applied and didn’t make it to this round it’s because we had limited capacity and/or were looking for additional folks that met the group’s needs. But, don’t worry, you might make it to the next one as there will be more to come!
