The Hungry Post Industry Night at Miami Slice took place on December 15th thanks to:

We can’t believe 2025 is almost over! And to celebrate the closing of yet another amazing year (during which we did a lot of drinking and eating, obvio), The Hungry Post partnered up with OpenTable to host its annual industry night Slice Party at Miami Slice, one of our favorite pizza spots located in Downtown.

This invite-only event was intended to celebrate and thank those key personalities in the Miami food and beverage industry for an amazing year. Guests included restaurant owners, chefs, mixologists, wine specialists, and more!

On this special evening, we enjoyed classic OG slices from Miami Slice; along with special pizza creations in collaboration with Chef Alejandra Espinoza of Michelin Guide restaurant, COTOA; cocktails; and sweet treats by Flour & Weirdoughs.

Inspired by her Ecuadorian background, Chef Alejandra Espinoza incorporated very distinctive pizza flavors. Think Manaba slice with creamy pesto, mozzarella, shrimp, ají de maracuyá, cotija cheese, and sal prietra; Ahumada slice with seco de pollo, plátano maduro, roast chicken, cotija cheese, and ají de tomate de árbol; Cacao slice with mascarpone and Ishpingo, figs with panela, Stracciatella, and cacao honey.

To all the people behind all our favorite Miami restaurants and bars: thank you for doing what you do. We’re so grateful for feeding us and allowing us to do what we love every day! And also, special thanks to OpenTable for supporting us and making this happen once again!
