The Hungry Post Industry Night at Miami Slice took place on December 16th thanks to:

We can’t believe 2024 is almost over! And to celebrate the closing of yet another amazing year (during which we did a lot of drinking and eating, obviously), The Hungry Post partnered up with OpenTable to host its annual industry night Slice Party at Miami Slice, one of our favorite pizza spots in Miami located in Downtown.

This exclusive, invite-only event was intended to celebrate and thank those key personalities in the Miami food and beverage industry for an amazing year. Guests included restaurant owners, chefs, mixologists, wine specialists, and more!On this special evening, we enjoyed Chicken Skewers and Hamachi Curdo; classic OG slices from Miami Slice; along with special pizza creations in collaboration with Kojin’s Executive Chef Pedro Mederos; cocktails; and sweet treats by Flour & Weirdoughs.

Inspired by his background and knowledge of Japanese techniques and flavors, Chef Pedro Mederos incorporated very distinctive, one-of-a-kind, never-before-seen pizza flavors. Think Caesar slice with Kazami nori, katsu mirin, and smoked trout roe; and Beef Cheek & Short Rib slice with smoked Mishima beef cheek, vodka sauce and beef jus.Everyone who attended the event got an OpenTable & The Hungry Post tote bag with branded OpenTable pizza cutters; The Hungry Post hat and stickers; Miami Slice matchbox; and Kojin gift card.
