On Friday, September 10th, starting at 5 PMThe Hungry Post hosted a Sunset Party at Amara at Paraiso, Chef Michael Schwartz’s Modern American restaurant with Latin influence and the best golden views Miami has to offer.

From Amara at Paraiso’s beautiful open kitchen, Executive Chef Michael Paley created a sunset bites menu highlighting fresh ingredients and bold Latin flavors.

Must-have dishes included the Yuca Puffs with Parmesan cheese; the Yellowfin Tuna Tostada with avocado, chipotle mayo, cilantro, tajin spice, and lime; as well as the Grilled Chorizos with tomatillo salsa.

The first 100 Hungries that arrived early received a complimentary Old Parr cocktail on behalf of The Hungry Post. From 5 PM to 7 PM, we hosted an Old Parr Happy Hour featuring three smooth Old Parr cocktails for $10 each. The choices included the Puebla Pony with Ancho Reyes, homemade ginger, and soda; the refreshing Picoso with fresh lemon juice, grapefruit juice, spicy honey syrup; and the fizzy Old Parr Ginger with a squeeze of orange and topped with ginger ale.

To end this memorable night filled with golden moments, Old Parr cocktails, and sunset bites; we danced until midnight with tunes by DJ Andre Ferro and Nicanor.

All Sunset Party were 21+ and purchased an entrance ticket.

Some of the entrance ticket proceeds went to #FeedTheChain, The Hungry Post’s social initiative to help keep South Florida’s food system alive.

By supporting The Hungry Post’s #FeedTheChain, we are able to buy meals from local restaurants in Miami and feed the most vulnerable in our community.
