The second Hungry Post Sunset Party pop-up in LA took place on September 28th at LA Cha Cha Chá

Holaaaaaaaa Hungries! This fall, The Hungry Post hosted another incredible Sunset Party pop-up, and we really hope you didn’t miss it!

On Saturday, September 28th, Miami and NYC Hungries came with us on a quick trip to the land of celebrities, green juices, surfers, laidback vibes, palm-lined boulevards and the best weather year-round! Yup, you guessed it… we headed to La La Land once again.

This rumbita Latina was one for the books! We took over LA Cha Cha Chá in The Arts District with Miami’s calorcito and buenas vibras.

Miami, NYC and of course LA Hungries, all started to arrive at 4 PM to this chic yet laid-back Mexican rooftop with some of LA’s best views! We sipped on refreshing coctelitos, munched on delicious Mexican bites, enjoyed an exclusive Happy Hour from 4 PM to 6 PM and danced to the best musiquita Latina!  As for the food, menu highlights included: Pollo Tacos; Eggplant Tacos; Carnitas Tacos; Street Dog made with bacon wrapped frank, grilled green onions, grilled peppers and morita aioli; Empanada de Calabasa with Oaxaca cheese, manchego cheese, mint and cilantro; Papas Chipotle with chipotle aioli, marita vinaigrette and chile morita aioli; Calamari with burnt onion, togarashi, cilantro remoulade and zarandeado; Tostada Terraza with bluefin tuna, crispy cilantro and chile morita aioli; Guacamole with corn chips and chapulines; Ceviche made with cured shrimp, coconut brine, kumquat and nasturtium; and more.

La rumba estuvo buenísima! If you know us, you know that no Sunset Party of ours is complete without some real reggaeton, and this was no exception! We danced pegadito (toda la noche) to the best tunes played by our all-time favorite Miami DJs: Juan Diego Viteri and Ricky Fernedez. Plus, we had a special LA based DJ, Valou, for some local vibes. Thanks for joining us at our second LA Sunset Party pop-up Hungries! It really was an EPIC rumba to welcome the 2024 fall season, and it wouldn’t have been the same without you there! Nos encantó verlos in Los Angeles bailando y tomando just like we do in Miami! We hope to come back to the West Coast again real soon! But for now, we’ll see you at our next rumbitas back in Miami and NYC!
