The Hungry Post hosted a Sunset Party at Shiso on Saturday, July 12!

Hola, hola Hungries! Summer is officially here, and we decided to celebrate with an epic fiestica! Whether you danced all day, snapped pics, or just came for the food and drinks (duh), we hope you had the best time!

By now, we know how much you love una buena rumba con mucho reggaeton! This time, we took over Wynwood’s newest Asian smokehouse, Shiso—a high-energy rooftop featuring a dramatic quartz bar, a garden with cabanas, and a retractable roof.

On Saturday, July 12, doors opened at 4 PM and we kicked things off with our exclusive Happy Hour that went on until 6 PM! We sipped on refreshing handcrafted cocktails and munched on delicious Asian bites. Think: Bluefin Tuna Crudo, Crispy Octopus with tartare sauce, Duck Dumplings, Smoked Brisket Croquette, Unagi Hand Roll, Salmon Belly Hand Roll, Veggie Hand Roll, Stracciatella with shiso pesto, and more.

If you know us, then you know that no true Sunset Party is complete if the best Latin tunes aren’t involved! After cocktails and comidita rica, we took over the dance floor as our incredible DJ lineup—Muxika, Hassa, Ricky Fernandez, and Andre Ferro—kept the energy high with el mejor reggaetoncito!

Los Socios del Hungry Post enjoyed exclusive perks at our Sunset Party, starting with skipping the long line at the entrance. Inside, they relaxed in their private area with AC and separate restroom, complete with a dedicated bar and refreshing water courtesy of our friends at Perrier and Aqua Panna.
