The first ever Hungry Post Sunset Party pop-up in LA took place on September 9th and was presented by:

Hungries, this summer, for the first time ever, The Hungry Post hosted an incredible Sunset Party pop-up and we really hope you didn’t miss it!

On Saturday, September 9th, Miami and NYC Hungries came with us on a quick trip to the land of celebrities, green juices, surfers, laidback vibes, palm-lined boulevards, sunshine, and yes, you guessed it… we landed in La La Land of all places.

This rumba was one for the books! We took over Skybar at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood with Miami’s calorcito and Latin vibes as we enjoyed muchos drinks, yummy bites, and the best reggaeton (obvio).

Miami, NYC, and our new LA Hungries, all started to arrive with their grupito at 4 PM at this open-air, chic poolside lounge for some of the best LA summer views.

We sipped on refreshing Old Parr coctelitos, munched on the most delicious sunset bites, and enjoyed an exclusive Old Parr Happy Hour from 4 PM to 6 PM. Oh, and the first 100 guests got a free specialty Old Parr cocktail (early bird catches the bird, siempre)!

As for the food, menu highlights included: Guacamole; Hummus with oven baked pita; Carne Asada with avocado crema, Cotija cheese, and pineapple salsa; Smashburger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato. pickle, and house made burger sauce; Caprese Panini with smoked turkey breast, buffalo mozzarella, heirloom tomato, red onion, cilantro pesto, and aged balsamic; and more.

La rumba estuvo buenísima! If you know us, you know that no Sunset Party of ours is complete without some real reggaeton, and this was no exception (obvio)! Hungries danced pegadito toda la noche to the best Latin tunes played by our all-time favorite Miami DJs: Juan Diego Viteri, DJ Andre Ferro, plus we had a special LA based DJ, Sebastian Topete, for some local vibes.

Thanks for joining us at our first Sunset Party pop-up Hungries! It really was an EPIC rumba to end an amazing 2023 summer season, and it wouldn’t have been the same without you there! Nos encantó verlos in Los Angeles drinking and dancing just like we do in Miami! We hope to come back to the West Coast real soon! But for now, we’ll see you at our next rumbitas back in Miami and NYC!
