The Hungry Post Sunset Party at The Deck at Island Gardens

The Hungry Post hosted another Sunset Party at The Deck at Island Gardens on Saturday, June 22nd! 

Hey Hungries! Not even the rain could stop us from hosting another amaaaaaazing rumbita in Miami! The Deck at Island Gardens, is where you absolutely had to be on Saturday, June 22nd! Did you make it this time?

Summer in Miami means unexpected showers, nevertheless, we know how much you guys like una buena fiestica al aire libre that goes on from day-to-night! And this was exactly what we brought to you, rain included.

Soccer fans, this Sunset Party was for you because we played two games of Copa América that day: Ecuador vs. Venezuela (6 PM) and México vs. Jamaica (9 PM)! Guests started to arrive at this incredible restaurant and lounge a little later than usual (due to obvious weather conditions), but still managed to sip on traguitos, munch on comidita, root for their favorite team and dance the night away to the best reggaetoncito.

As for the food, menu highlights included: Seafood Towers; Charcuterie & Cheese Boards; Oysters; Ahi Tuna Tartare with capers,  shallots, baby arugula and avocado; Crispy Salmon Bites with Fresno chili and chives; Charcoal Grilled Octopus; Margarita Pizza; Truffle & Pear Pizza; and more.

Of course we celebrated Venezuela’s win with a suuuuuuper fun Harina P.A.N. Hora Loca featuring free PAN Cheese Tequeños for everyone (perfecto para un mid-party energy boost), branded Harina P.A.N. hats, an LED drummer, glow sticks, and more!

It was an epic party and definitely a rainy Saturday afternoon to remember! If you know us, well then you know that no Sunset Party is complete without some buena musiquita Latina, and this was no exception! Todos bailamos pegadito to the latest and greatest hits played by our favorite Miami DJs: Ricky Fernandez, Hassa and Andre Ferro.
