Miami has a new gin bar and restaurant opening on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, in Coconut Grove. Botánico created by co-owner Ricardo Ordoñez and chef/co-owner Gerardo B. De Negri features a contemporary menu with indoor and outdoor seating along CocoWalk. This could be your next date night out, business lunch, or happy hour spot. Grab a seat at their marble bar, sit in the main dining hall, or outside on the patio to enjoy the full experience. But wherever you sit, make sure to get one of their fifteen gin & tonic variations including cucumber jelly & lime twist; cubeb pepper; dried pineapple & star anise, and fig jelly.

Chef Gerry’s classic French training and his experience abroad influenced the menu at Botánico. Dishes we’re looking to try include the goat cheese dipoctopus carpaccio; the arepas trilogy – topped with duck confit, short rib, and pulled pork; Ecuadorian shrimp ceviche –made with fresh shrimp marinated in a tomato-lime base with red onions and cilantro. As well as the short rib sandwich with pickled carrots and jalapeños.

Botánico Gin & Cookhouse is located in CoCoWalk at 3015 Grand Avenue, Suite 123 in Coconut Grove. The restaurant will open daily from 11:30 AM – 10 PM. For more information click HERE.
