How to cook like a local Miami chef at home
A post shared by Miami Restaurant Guide (@thehungrypost) on
In this episode, Chef Santiago Gomez of Cantina la 20 and Tacology is back and this time, he’s making a pink jerk shrimp salad. Chef Santiago Gomez chose the Key West Pink Shrimp from Wild Fork Foods to prepare his dish. This wild caught shrimp is all natural with tender textures and sweet flavors. Hereās the recipe:
Pink Jerk Shrimp Salad
INGREDIENTS
⢠Key West Pink Shrimp from Wild Fork Foods
⢠Jerk sauce
⢠Golden berries from Colombia
⢠Organic mix greens
⢠Roasted Pinions aka pine nuts
⢠Sea Salt
⢠Black Pepper
⢠Radishes

DIRECTIONS
First thing is first, you got to clean and peel those shrimp. After that’s done, season them with salt, pepper and olive oil. For that Caribbean flavor, add the jerk sauce to your shrimp. Once the shrimp has been seasoned and sauced up, place them on the grill to cook. Set your grilled shrimp aside as you prepare the green portion of your dish. Chef Santiago Gomez recommends using a mandoline to slice the radishes and mix them with the golden berries and a light drizzle of olive oil. Place the organic mix green as the bed of your salad and add the golden berries, roasted pinions, and the grilled shrimp.
