The Hungry Post is hiring an Event Producer!

The Hungry Post is a restaurant recommendation platform that engages with local communities through food & beverage experiences. We’re a startup that was born in Miami and it’s currently growing into other markets. 

We’re looking for a passionate event producer that can help us put together events in Miami, NYC, LA and other markets in the near future. Event formats vary from intimate culinary experiences for 30 people to Brunch Parties for 1500 people. The ideal candidate must be passionate about the food & beverage industry, must have a creative and entrepreneurial spirit, and must understand the value of good hospitality. 

You must have experience producing events from start to finish with little support. We’re a small team and everyone must be willing to put up their sleeves. You will find and negotiate venues, do the account management, hire staff, coordinate sponsor activations, coordinate all promotions, be onsite the day of the event, etc. Candidate must have experience working with event sponsors and activating brand experiences. The successful candidate will understand how to execute events across different markets in the US and help The Hungry Post grow nationwide.


  • Identify and negotiate event spaces that align with The Hungry Post brand
  • Manage full event production: site visits, vendors, staffing, décor, catering, security, branding, permits, etc.
  • Work directly with event sponsors to coordinate activations and/or activate on their behalf
  • Manage all event promotional strategy including content marketing, invitation design, influencer strategy, and other creative promotional initiatives
  • Manage all reservations and ticket sales
  • Manage event P&L and production budget
  • Work in collaboration with Social Media and Editorial teams to distribute content and promote event accordingly
  • Create and share postproduction reports


  • Minimum of 3 years in event production
  • Experience in producing events from start to finish
  • Experience in managing relationship with sponsors and executing brand activations
  • Demonstration of outstanding creative and a forward-thinking attitude


  • Must be willing to work from home 
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Must be willing to travel and work during the weekends
