What to expect: Prepare to be transported to an intimate and exclusive loungebehind the Four Seasons’ curtain in the lobby. The most unexpected element of the Caviar Russe experience is the depth of the menu beyond the caviar offerings.
The Menu: The menu highlights Asian, European, and American influences. All of the offerings are classically inspired, which is no surprise considering the menu was designed by chefs trained by Alain Ducasse. Many of the dishes feature caviar but there are other indulgent options such as crudos, foie gras, and risotto.

What to order: The Blue Fin Toro Tartare is a decadent start to your meal, served with caviar, ponzu, and scallion. The ponzu sauce complements the richness of the caviar and tuna.

Also on the list of must-orders is the risotto with lobster, English pea, and parmesan. The risotto with peas and parmesan is creamy and made even tastier with the addition of buttery lobster chunks.

Our favorite dish by far was the Caviar Baked Potato. A twice baked potato, baked with crème fraîche and truffle and topped with caviar. If you are lucky enough to meet the owner during your dining experience, he will be happy to tell you the story behind this incredible potato (hint: it involves a request from an A-list customer).

How to score a table: We recommend calling ahead for a reservation. Don’t miss their Champagne Fridays, with Champagne and caviar specials!
