With changing appetites in Miami, Hungries need a spot like Figata where the menu changes daily. Think of this place as your go-to lunch spot with freshly prepared foods you can grab on the go, or if time permits, sit down and enjoy in their outdoor terrace.

What to expect: It’s not a trip, the glowing spots are coming through the artfully placed cutouts along the walls of Figata. As you walk in, you will pass rows of tables on your left. Then on your right you will catch views of rows and rows of desserts, sandwiches and other salads behind the glass.

The Menu: At Figata, the menu is divided among starters and main course, while pizza has its own category–as it should. Under starters you will find familiar dishes like burrata with surprises like Italian sheep cheeses. On the main course, we love seeing offerings like the gnocchi with truffle sauce and veal ossobuco.

What to order: We shared pizza and savory sandwiches that we know you will enjoy as well, like…
Prosciutto Cotto e Funghi: Folded slices of prosciutto make every bite memorable. The cheese. The tomato sauce. It all comes together under one roof (of your mouth). Best way to enjoy if you ask us, is fold each slice in half and devour.

Pan Seared Scottish Salmon: Load us up with all the good kinds of fat in this plate. You will savor the citrus and herb freshness on this piece of protein. We love salmon for its benefits, but more than anything for its flavor.

Off the menu: Ask to try one of their jams. We dipped some bread in a tomato jam that we’re still dreaming about. Any chance it will make a comeback soon?
How to score a table: Lunchtime can get busy, but you will be fine just walking in. You can always call ahead for reservations.
