What to expect: A great location and space in the heart of South Beach. Planta has a contemporary and fresh look with lots of light during brunch time and a cozy feel for dinner. The restaurant is divided into two spaces: bar and restaurant tables.

The Menu: Expect vegan and vegetarian takes on sushi, pizza, burgers, pasta and more.

What to order:
Hearts of Palm “Crab Cakes” Benny
Possibly our favorite dish from what we ordered at brunch. If you are a hearts of palm fan, you’re in for a treat! Crab cake dish made with chana dal (Indian-like chickpeas), coconut milk, and cilantro.

Hash Browns
Great side to add to your “crab cakes” benny or even nice to have at the table and share. Especially if you like that sweet and spicy combination from the maple syrup and sriracha.

Mango Grove
If you’ve ever tried #mangobiche or you love mango, then this will be one of your new favorite salads. Comes with pomelo, mango, green papaya, lime leaf, cilantro, Thai basil, chili, and peanuts.

Banana Pancakes
On the thicker side of pancakes, but we personally loved the pecan crunch.

Bottomless Margaritas
Of course…For $35 you can have all the cold pressed Margaritas you’d like during your meal. Careful when you get up, the room might be spinning.

How to score a table: Most likely you will be able to walk in and score a table, but if you’d like to play it safe, call or make a reservation here.
