What to expect: The Alchemist at Aventura really is where coffee meets science and magic. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, get work done and indulge in delicious coffee and eats, this is your spot. Enjoy the tranquil gardens, easy surrounding and lovely staff at this new hidden gem.

The Menu: From an incredible variation of coffee beans, The Alchemist’s great selection of coffee is complemented by the unique taste of delicious low carb, open-faced sandwiches, salads, pizzetas and a full spectrum of (gluten free!) desserts.

What to order: It’ll depend on what you’re in the mood for, but lots to pick from.

We began with a House Salad with Tuna; a combination mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, red onions, avocado, feta cheese, basil and balsamic vinaigrette (with tuna as an added protein). Simple and delicious, with all fresh ingredients; making this the perfect healthy meal to kick off your week.

If you’re a carbs fan, make sure to try the Slicers (open face sandwiches on fresh Tuscan bread… YUM). We went with the avocado toast; which is a favorite dish from the local goers. We also tried the Pizzeta and Focaccia options; tasty and crispy as can be.

We ended our visit on a sweet note—with the Nutella Croissant topped with berries and bananas, accompanied with their house-made cold brew yerba mate.
