We’re looking for a full-time or part-time Social Media Video Content Creator!

The Hungry Post is a restaurant recommendation platform that engages with local communities through inventive food & beverage experiences and relatable content. We’re a startup that was born in Miami and is currently growing into other markets. We help people decide where to eat next.

We’re looking for a passionate Social Media Video Content Creator to join The Hungry Post team. The candidate must have a passion for the food & beverage industry, understand the value of good hospitality, and be an amazing storyteller. In this role, you must be able to conceptualize, research, pitch, produce and edit high-quality content with a particular emphasis on video with some knowledge of graphic design. You are primarily a savvy Social Media Video Content Creator, able to work in a fast-paced environment with limited resources and many priorities and deadlines. You understand what type of content will perform best on the different platforms, having experience with video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. You can execute ideas from beginning to end by yourself and deliver content in a timely manner. Your projects include editorial and branded content, and you understand the difference between, how to make branded content as successful as editorial content. You are responsible for the full production process: planning, scheduling, script writing, voiceover, filming, and editing.


  • Participate in brainstorms,  pitch ideas, and attend creative team meetings  for The Hungry Post content strategy
  • Execute content strategy through video, photography, and graphic design, that aligns with The Hungry Post’s personality, and communication strategy.
  • Execute all aspects of production: research, booking, writing, filming, editing, etc.
  • Experiment with ideas across multiple social media touchpoints and creative execution solutions including but not limited to; stop motion, continuous motion video, editing techniques, and motion graphics.
  • Come up with creative solutions to maximize content output and engagement across platforms
  • Produce at least 5 videos per week, including restaurant experiences, event promotions, event recaps, branded content, and more. 
  • Save content in the internal drive in an organized matter.


  • 3+ years of professional video and story-telling experience on social media. Experience with content around food and beverage is a plus.  
  • Creative conceptual skills, resourceful, and a self-starter.
  • Experience in creating engaging and dynamic visual content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • You are highly organized and have strong attention to detail.
  • If you have technical production skills and experience managing production equipment including video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment that is a plus.


  • Fluent in Spanish & English.
  • Understanding of the affluent Hispanic community.
  • Graphic design and video animation capabilities are a plus.
  • You have a great attitude and are a team player.


  • Must be willing to work from home and be out and about all the time.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Must be willing to travel and work during the weekends.
  • Must be willing to eat out, and try new restaurants.
