The Hungry Post hosted the first Sunset Party of 2024 at Mr. Purple on Saturday, February 10th

Bienvenidos a 2024 NYC Hungries!

Whether a friend from Miami sent you our way or whether you searched for the best Latin parties in NYC, we were so happy to have you at our first Sunset Party of the year on Saturday, February 10th.

We hosted the greatest afternoon party (that, yes, went on toda la noche) to kick off this new year and we sure hope you did not miss it! Let’s just say we brought Miami’s calorcito once again to New York City.

Miami and NYC Hungries started to arrive at The Club, Mr. Purple’s newest space, at Hotel Indigo at 4 PM to take in the most incredible Manhattan skyline views. As always, we sipped on muchos drinks, munched on light bites, and danced to some real reggaeton (obvio)! Those smart enough to arrive early, skipped the line and enjoyed an exclusive Happy Hour from 4 PM to 6 PM.

As for the food, we had a little bit of everything. Menu highlights included Chips & Guac; Hummus with pita bread and crudité; Tuna Tartare with malanga chips; carne asada Street Tacos; Rock Shrimp Tempura with spicy aioli; and more.

We don’t want to brag, but la rumba estuvo buenísima! If you know us, you know that no Hungry Post Sunset Party is complete without some real reggaeton and this was no exception (obvio). We danced pegadito to the latest and greatest musiquita Latina played by our favorite DJs: Andre Ferro, Juan Diego Viteri and Alex Lerner (a.k.a. DJ Kitsch).

Thank you so much for coming out to party with us Hungries! We were so happy to see your pretty little faces otra vez and we definitely can’t wait for la proxima rumba! So stay tuned!
