The Hungry Post hosted the first-ever Sunset Party Día de los Muertos edition at La Victoria NYC and was presented by:

Hungries, whether a friend from Miami sent you our way or whether you searched for the best Latin parties in NYC, we were so happy to have you at our first-ever Sunset Party Día de los Muertos edition on Saturday, October 21st.

You definitely came to the right place if you were looking for a great pre-Halloween celebration in the city involving drinks and musiquita Latina!

This time around, we took over La Victoria Social Club in the Meatpacking District for a spooky celebration.

NYC Hungries started to arrive at this mystical and exotic spot at 4 PM for an eerie sundown! We sipped on muchos coctelitos and munched on tequeños Venezolanos (yum)! Those smart enough to arrive early enjoyed an exclusive HORNITOS and Tres Generaciones Tequila Happy Hour from 4 PM to 6 PM.

But wait, there was more! For this early Día de los Muertos celebration, we had lots of fun activities just for you! Hungries had a chance to get Catrina face paint and also received a Tarot card that they could redeem for a complimentary tequilita cocktail. And of course, we couldn’t resist setting the mood for the night with a beautiful altar for Día de los Muertos.

Let’s just say that this early Halloween rumba estuvo buenísima! If you know us, you know that no Hungry Post Sunset Party is complete without some real reggaeton, and this was no exception. We danced bien pegadito toda la noche to the greatest Latin tunes played by our favorite DJs: Andre Ferro and Juan Diego Viteri.
