AN ICE CREAM SHOP FOR YOUR LIST
Updated August 23, 2021
Ice Cream Shop: Sugar Hill Creamery
Neighborhood: Harlem | Dumbo
Address: 184 Malcolm X Blvd | 55 Water St
Cool off with Sugar Hill Creamery. This small-batch ice cream shop is family-owned and has two locations in Harlem and one in Dumbo’s Time Out Market.
The menu is heavily inspired by the Larsen family’s Caribbean and Midwestern roots as well as their beloved Harlem neighborhood. Collaborating with local restaurants on seasonal flavors is their thing and they have no problem pushing flavor boundaries. Collabs recently included a salty-sweet miso ice cream with pickled ginger and yuzu swirl and a black sesame tuile with Ramen Byra in Harlem.
Check out their most popular flavors: Chairperson of the Board (Blueberry Cream Cheese), Harlem Sweeties (Salted Caramel), Nunu’s Peach Cobbler, and Andy Griffith (Vanilla).

THE LUCALI TEAM HAS OPENED A PIZZA SHOP BY THE SLICE
Updated August 16, 2021
Restaurant: Baby Luc’s
Neighborhood: Carroll Gardens
Address: 387 Court Street Brooklyn
The team behind the infamous wood-fired pizzeria, Lucali has opened up Baby Luc’s, a slice shop in Carroll Gardens.
If you’ve been to Lucali you know that they don’t take reservations. This pizza outing requires your arrival between at least 4 PM – 4:30 PM only to secure a table between 8:30 PM – 9:30 PM. Worth it and we don’t mind hitting up a bar before we wait for this pizza feast.
But anyway, back to their new slice shop, Baby Luc’s has a line forming already at 5 PM but maybe just maybe you’ll get your square pie before you’d get a table at Lucali.
Square pies come in 4 flavors: Margarita, Pepperoni,
Also important to note, unlike Lucali, Baby Luc’s accepts credit & debit cards. Baby Luc’s is currently open from Wednesday – Saturday from 5 PM to 9 PM or until sold out (which is likely).
