Father’s Day is on June 20th, so you know what that means… run to your local CVS grab a card, get that yeti cooler on pre-order and make sure to stock the fridge with some beer. But, if options A, B and C are not how papa rolls; we got you covered.

We are talking tomahawk steaks, fresh seafood for the feasting and who could forget the drinks, because what’s a salute to dad like a flight of whiskeys and bottomless mimosas.

Check out our curated list of the local gems so that all the dads out there can feast like a king. And to the mamas out there who have to hold it down on Father’s Day, we salute you and this list is just for you too.

Michael Mina’s award-winning steakhouse is bringing out all the stops for one night only to celebrate all the Dads out there. Bourbon Steak will be featuring Specialty Tomahawks and elegantly crafted Old Fashioned cocktails come Sunday, June 20th. The Tomahawk steaks for two will be priced at $150 and the cocktails for that evening priced at $12. Aside from their specials for the evening, their acclaimed menu will also be available.

In the heart of MiMo this OG spot is making sure that sharing is caring come Father’s Day brunch. With 90’s throwbacks playing in the background and an Asian Fusion cuisine that will light up your tastebuds, the dads may end up starting their own brunch club after this feast. Featuring $1 East Coast oysters served all day long – freshly shucked, lemongrass mignonette, bourbon cocktail sauce, served by the half dozen ($6); Crispy Shrimp ‘n Grits with crawfish andouille sausage gravy, crispy salt ‘n peppa local shrimp and 63-degree egg ($24); Smoked Salmon Sammie made with egg soaked brioche, smoked salmon, whipped cream cheese, pickled onion, side salad ($18) and Fried Chicken Banh Mi – crispy chicken, cajun spice, lemongrass, lettuce, herbage, house-made pickles, sriracha buffalo aioli ($17).

What you need to know

For the dads out there that enjoy a night out on the town with a few good friends and family gathered around the table with some delectable surprises, this is the spot for you. A thirteen-course pre-fixed menu for $175 with some highlights such as Caviar Cones, Smoked Oysters, Bao con Lechón, Crispy Whole Lionfish and Australian Aged Braised Short Rib. The menu even includes special items like the “Cubano” in honor of Café Versailles. We won’t give away all the dishes, but we can tell you we are drooling already.

Instead of having dad behind the grill, treat him to a dinner of his dreams with a 40oz dry-aged Tomahawk ribeye with bone engraved with “Happy Father’s Day” for $220 (presale) as well as Whiskey Flights (Johnnie Walker Black, Macallan 12, Glenlivet 12) and Negroni Flight (Classic, Bianco, Boulevardier) for $25 each. There are a limited amount of steaks available, so make the call to reserve in advance.

This famed Brooklyn-style pizza joint will have you and your pops covered come Father’s Day. For the dad that likes to sit back with a cold one in one hand and a slice in the other, this is for you. Thrown down on a Signature pie with all the fixings and if you really want to impress dad, make sure you get the Lucali eggplant special. And what’s a good meal without a little something sweet, grab a couple of Mini cannolis for an end-of-meal delight. We won’t say anything if you order some for the ride home (we’ve done it too).

Now don’t think we forgot about that gravy, like we said earlier it’s a sacred tradition. So, make sure that you book in time so you can order the Sunday Sauce for dad. Featuring a short rib meatball, pork rib, Italian sausage and an 8-hour sauce you may just come here every Sunday with dad.
