Address:2524 Le Jeune Road, Miami, FL 33134
What to expect: Although it’s only been open for a few weeks, M House came at full force to join the Coral Gables food scene. Hungries will experience a palate of bold flavors inspired by the rich coastlines of Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, and Greece. The space showcases a Florida adaptation of the European Riviera.
The Menu: M House is the perfect destination for coastal fare, with culinary influences from the European seaside. The restaurant’s contemporary menu presents seasonal fare, with an exclusive collection of dishes boasting a smoky flavor from the kitchen’s unique Josper Charcoal Oven. Executive Chef Abraham Silva’s main goal is to “transform traditional dining into an immersive affair”. He cultivated a distinct, fresh menu from global travel.
What to order: Hard to decide where to begin here— this is one of those places where you simply cannot go wrong with anything you order. We’d say that’s a very good “problem” to have 🙂
If it’s a hot day out (it’s Miami, so that’s 90% of the possibility) order the Venetian, a house-made special cocktail made by the owner, along with Wagyu Toast and the Cod Croquetes (who can resist Portugal Salted Cod?!).
More of the Coastal appetizers we’d highly recommend are the Grilled Prawns, Prince Edward Mussels, the Mushroom & Feta salad and the Grilled Lamb Chops.
Main courses are offered through an array of dishes from both ocean and earth that are simply grilled or baked. Our must-try item goes to the Mezzi Paccheri ShortRib; freshly made pasta tossed with slow braised short rib ragout. Simply incredible.
End it on a sweet note with M House’ Feta Cheesecake; made with roasted blackberries and thyme lavender syrup, accompanied by smoked cream ice cream (yes, smoked! So cool right?).
How to score a table: This is the hot spot in town, so be sure to call (786-369-5155) or go on their website to make a reservation: http://www.mhouserestaurant.com/visit
