The 8-to-5 grind has just turned up if you find yourself near this spot in Wynwood. Laid Fresh is serving breakfast all day. Get this… you can even sip your mimosa incognito from a coffee mug.

What to expect: Imagine brunch between two soft buns and no need for fancy attire. You will find eggs at the center of nearly every dish. After all, they are the “eggsperts” here. Ordering is easy, service is fast, and the food is incredible. In addition to the fast-dining seats, there is a larger conference table where you can dine while building skyscrapers out of bright colored LEGOs. Feeling more chill? Grab a seat on their couch and find your zen with one of three music options playing on sets of headphones hanging from the roof–motivational speaking, calming sounds, or heavy metal. It’s like Laid knows about out anxiety…

The Menu: The sandwiches are the way to go like the EBLT or Spicy Chicken. Fuel your body with the Ancient Grain Salad or go all out with a side of crispy bacon and fresh beignets. To calm the thirst, sip on Florida’s best–orange juice–or get caffeinated with Panther coffee. For the day drinkers, happy hour starts at 2pm (daily) and includes local draft beer, wines, bubbles, and more.

What to order:

The Spicy Chicken sandwich at Laid Fresh is a must-have. Expect some of that same flavor you’ve come to love from restaurateurs Steven Haigh and Chef Michael Lewis of KYU. This hot chicken is prepped with cambozola cheese, napa slaw, and pickles. If your vegan friend tagged along, have them order the Ancient Grain Salad. We enjoyed this chilled salad with fresh herbs, cucumber, tomato, and a mustard vinaigrette. For that sweet stuff order the Beignets for the table. The order came with three pretty good-sized pastries, so if you’re headed to the beach this weekend better take small bites.

Clearly, we washed this all down with a Mug of Mimosa.
Off the menu: Add-ons are available. So like, if you want guac with that, it’ll be extra.
How to score a table: Chill out bro. No need for a resy here. Just come in and enjoy.
