Naan Pop-up is taking over Taquiza South Beach location on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Their weekend menu is available for takeout, delivery, and dine-in. This a fast-casual Indian concept with great wholesome flavors. Naan was created by H&C Collective hospitality pros Alex Lipin and Catherine Vallin with chef Anthonidoss Ramesh Abraham and Adam Abbey. Their prized possession is their naan (aka fluffy goodness) which they cook inside a traditional tandoor oven. Naan flavor include: plain, garlic, Sichuan peppercorn, everything, cheese, or loaded AKA “secret menu naan. Our must-order dishes are the lamb samosa, paneer cheese & spinach samosa, palak paneer, veg forma, and the lamb rogan josh. The menu is V friendly to vegans and vegetarians. Takeout and delivery are available via the Square website or Uber Eats. On-site dining (indoor and outdoor) is also available.

LPM Restaurant & Bar is relaunching Dejeuner D’affaires, it’s executive lunch menu on Tuesday, November 3rd. The menu will be available Tuesday to Friday from 12 – 2:30 pm. The lunch menu is $29++ per person and offers two starters, one main course, and side dishes for an extra $4.50. The lunch menu includes the Salade Verte, Ratatouille et Feta as starters. For the main course, diners can indulge in dishes such as the Gnocchi á la Tomate Fraîche, gnocchi with cherry tomato, garlic, and parmesan and the Bavette aux Chimichurri (4oz), hanger steak with chimichurri sauce, to name a few.

Café La Trova is set to reopen on Thursday, November 5…barring any unforeseen circumstances. Dinner will be served Wednesday through Sunday from 6 p.m. with live music nightly. The restaurant will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays.  Reservations are now available HERE. Café La Trova will follow all protocols to ensure a responsible reopening that prioritizes the health, safety and well-being of both guests and staff.

From Grove Bay Hospitality Group, Public Square is the new contemporary American grill opening Friday, October 23rd on the corner of Red Road and San Ignacio Ave.

The menu will feature dishes like Filet Mignon Bites, Crispy Suckling Pig, Morel Mushroom Risotto and more. The restaurant’s wine program has a focus on West coast wines and a curated, 96+ point wine-by-the-glass program.

Master of pizza dough Franco Stanzione has teamed up with Aussie Chef Aaron Brooks of the Edge Steakhouse inside of the Four Seasons in Brickell to bring us The Pide Place. Pides are flatbread pizzas, popular in Turkey, and baked in stone ovens. The menu includes wood-fired pides, dips, salads and sauces. They’ve recently added new menu items that include a roasted beet dip with labne, urfa biber (a smoky Turkish chili pepper), mint, peanuts and pomegranate. Also new for dessert is their take on cookbook writer Claudia Roden’s, Classic Orange and Almond Cake. It’s a bittersweet flourless cake made from whole oranges and ground almonds. Served with whipped sour cream and candied orange.

From October 23-25, prepare your palate for a pop-up dining experience that takes you out of your kitchen and onto the streets of Brickell. Brickell City Centre will be celebrating its newly minted dining platform, BCC  EATS  with a socially distanced weekend-long series of outdoor food & drink events. Dubbed the Anti-Social, the shopping center will host a mix of open-to-the-public and RSVP’d brunches and dinners for guests of all ages seeking a safe way to reconnect with loved ones while dining and imbibing al fresco. The Anti-Social will take place in a reimagined outdoor urban garden oasis North Square – across the street from Luna Park on SE 6th Street. The Anti-Social will offer epicureans the opportunity to indulge in Brickell City Centre restaurants’ newest and most popular dishes from favorites including Pubbelly SushiTacologyQuinto La Huella, CMX Stone Bar and newly opened Marabú.

During the three days, groups of 2-4 can choose from a brunch or dinner reservation catered by the restaurant of their choice and purchase tickets to reserve their time, with ticket prices starting at $55 for brunch and $80 for dinner. The ticket will include a prix fixe menu with dishes and cocktails from each restaurant that guests are able to enjoy all while dining under the stars. An Anti- Social Bar will be open in Brickell City Centre to the public throughout the weekend and will offer specialty cocktails from SUGAR at East Hotel.

Luis Mata, German Vollbratch, and Gabriel LLaurado, creators of Meat N’ Bone, a local Miami butcher are opening up their first brick and mortar restaurant. The Wagyu Bar will be Miami’s first casual steakhouse. They’re swaying from the idea of the typical Miami steakhouse. “No smoke, no mirrors.” And of course, all of their beef is sourced from Meat N’ Bone. Their menu is a carnivore’s dream highlighting USDA Prime Bone-In steaks Dry Aged in the city of Chicago for 45-60 days, G1 Certified steaks, wet-aged for 30+ days, Wagyu-Angus cross from Australia, Japanese A5 Wagyu from the prefecture of Miyazaki, Japan and more. As R House approaches their seven-year anniversary, the Wynwood eatery known best for its modern American plates, extravagant drag performances and lively atmosphere is changing up their menu. The new Latin-inspired menu and elevated bar program will feature the Arepa with coffee-braised short rib, pico de gallo, cilantro crema and crispy onions; Empanada with mojo pork, roasted maize and feta; and Croquetas with roasted sweet potato, and queso de mano verde.

Heartier dishes from the Large Plates showcase an eclectic mix of Latin-inspired dishes including Short Rib Ropa Vieja with roasted red pepper sauce and maduros; Peruvian Aji-Roasted Chicken; and Moqueca, a modern version of the traditional Brazilian seafood stew made with local fish, Florida shrimp, scallops, ginger, coconut milk, tomatoes and peppers.

R House is scheduled to launch its new menu offerings on Friday, October 16, 2020. The restaurant is open Wednesdays & Thursdays from 4PM to 10PM; Fridays from 4PM to 11PM; and Saturdays & Sundays from 11:30AM to 2:30PM. Happy Hour is available from 4PM to 6:30PM Wednesday through Friday.

Hachidori Ramen Bar is a new Japanese restaurant opening on October 22nd in Little River. However, they are accepting reservations for their soft opening starting on October 10th. Ramen takes center stage at Hachidori, where all broths are made from scratch and simmered slowly. We’re excited to try The “OG” Ramen featuring a 20-hour Tonkotsu broth topped with 2-day cured, 4-hour braised pork belly; a house-made spice mix; miso tare; and marinated soft-boiled egg. Izakaya-style tapas include the Umami Sticky Bread, Japanese Street Corn, Korean Chicken Wings and Crispy Yakiniku Ribs. The box features a complete Taquiza meal for one for just $10 making it the perfect budget-friendly option. The box includes two tacos (choice of pollo, carnitas, or rajas) on Taquiza’s signature, stone-ground blue masa tortillas; house-made blue corn thin chips and salsa; 1/2 elote; garnishes; and hot sauce (jalapeno hot sauce and Taquiza’s sought-after, limited-time-only red Fresno hot sauce).
