Your favorite local Wynwood brewery has a half birthday coming up and what perfect timing as the 2021 Tokyo Olympics are about to premiere as well! To celebrate both occasions La Tropical is hosting their very own Troplympics on Thursday, August 5 at 6 PM. Local breweries will compete with one another through challenges such as keg curls, malt bag races, 6-pack side to sides, giant jenga and who could forget the eating portion of the competition.

This is a community event and what better way to get into the competitive spirit than by supporting your local breweries and throwing back some delicious beers from La Tropical’s growing beer selection by brewmaster Matt Weintraub and Latin-Caribbean bites by Chef Cindy Hutson. And after the main event, you can still catch all the 2021 Olympic action live during the day in the taproom at La Tropical. Oh and if you’re looking for cocktails or something on the stronger side, we recommend a Hibiki Harmony Old Fashioned.
