Founded by Gregory and Marine GalyMILA, a restaurant, lounge, and mixology bar, has announced it will open in South Beach on Friday, January 24th. Located at 800 Lincoln Road, the rooftop space will feature a multi-sensory culinary experience that draws influences from the shores of the Mediterranean and Japan. The laid-back yet luxurious nature-inspired location is helmed by Executive Chef Nicolas Mazier. Featured dishes include Loup de Mer dumplings topped with rosemary miso broth and the signature Crab Daikon Roll with peekytoe crab, MILA spices, lobster bisque, osetra caviar. Recently opened contemporary Northern Chinese restaurant and bar Hutong celebrates its first Chinese New Year on Saturday, January 25. From its home in Hong Kong, Hutong brings a fresh take on Chinese cuisine with its occasionally fiery Northern Chinese dishes, served in a chic space inspired by the vibrant Miami art scene combined with traditional Chinese design elements. Guests can enjoy an authentic Chinese New Year celebration, featuring Chinese toy drums on all tables to partake in the fun and awaken the Lion for the special Lion Dance at 9:15 PM. Guests will also receive Lucky Chinese Red packets at their table that will have gifts of either a free dessert or drink with one lucky table who will receive a complimentary dinner. Bulla Gastrobar, the contemporary Spanish-style restaurant located in Coral Gables, as well as in the center of the vibrant Downtown Doral, launches a selection of new seasonal dishes and cocktails to welcome the winter months.

Featuring a series of new dishes, Bulla introduces items to the Doral and Coral Gables menus such as a hearty Carrilleras con Fideos ($15) with pasta, braised beef cheeks, sofrito and minced parsley, as well as the Bombas de Rabo ($10) with braised oxtail, oxtail truffle reduction and mustard aioli. Guests can enjoy a perfectly grilled Pulpo a la Parrilla ($17) with octopus, corn puree, salsa criolla and black pepper, as well as a classically prepared Piquillos Rellenos ($9) featuring piquillo peppers stuffed with braised pork and pimento cheese. Save room for the Tarta de Santiago ($9) for dessert, featuring a traditional Spanish cake with toasted almonds, powdered sugar and vanilla ice cream. Make sure to wash it all down with a refreshing Sangria 43 or a Spiced Old Fashioned to complete the perfect meal.

For those seeking to indulge in an authentic dining experience, Chef Brooks curates an exceptional menu at EDGE Steak & Bar featuring a few of his favorite dishes from back home including Australian wagyu beef, pasture-raised lamb and other regional favorites. The traditional outdoor barbie is back at Bahía located on the Hotel’s 7th-floor pool terrace and will close out the week-long celebration on Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Joining Chef Aaron are his best mates, including Steve Santana of Taquiza and OFF SITE, Roel Alcudia of Mandolin and Gregory’s, The Chang Gang of Itamae and B-Side, Franco Stanzione of Stanzione 87, Michael Ombia of USBS, and Jorge Mas of Sala’o. With support from True Aussie Beef & Lamb, attendees will enjoy grilled Aussie favorites and delicious cuts of meat, including a whole-roasted rotisserie lamb. Beverages include an exclusive beer by J Wakefield Brewing with the help of Chef Brooks who will create a brew intended to be paired perfectly with the dishes for the celebration. Guests will also take part in a refreshing cocktail by David Sprintis, a longtime friend of EDGE Steak & Bar, as well as Bacardi cocktails made by Chris Hopkins and Gio Gutierrez. Details: The newly lauded Coconut Grove eatery Navé by Chefs Michael Beltran and Justin Flit expands its hours to offer guests a weekday lunch service. Now, diners can enjoy the duo’s simple, yet sophisticated seafood-centric menu at an approachable price point Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 3 PM. The lunch menu is divided into six sections: AppetizersFrom the OvenHandhelds, Pasta, Prepared Simply and Sides. Encouraged to be shared, guests can start with Appetizers like Big Eye Tuna with honeydew melon, fennel, and kelp ($18); Gnocco Fritto with mortadella, whipped lardo, and parmesan ($15); Burrata with eggplant caponata, fennel pollen, and olive oil ($18); or a selection of salads including Ceasar Salad ($14), Tuesday Night Salad ($13), or Million Dollar Salad ($15). From the Oven is a selection of wood-fired pizzas including Margherita ($14), Soppressatta ($15), Clam ($15), and Truffle ($25). For heartier fare, lunch-goers can opt for a Handheld like the Dry Aged Patty Melt with rye bread, swiss cheese, and caramelized onions ($18); the Oyster Po’Boy on French bread with lettuce, tomato, and aioli ($15); or the Snapper Milanese on white bread with tomato compote, and arugula ($17). Pasta dishes include a few of Nave’s signatures like Spaghetti ($17); Bucatini ($23); Rigatoni ($15); Risotto ($33); or Tagliatelle ($19). A farmers market-style pop-up in South Miami on January 12th

The Salty Donut will be hosting a farmers market-style pop up in the parking lot of the South Miami Salty Donut location (6022 South Dixie Hwy) on January 12th from 10 AM -2 PM featuring local crafty vendors and their own “The Salty” bake house pop up as a vendor of their own. The Salty bake house is an opportunity to try something fun and new, allowing the pastry chefs from The Salty Donut to spread their wings outside of the donut world and create homemade items including Homemade strawberry jam, Croissants, Jalapeño cheddar biscuits, Homemade salted whipped butter, Brioche bread loaves, and Chocolate chip cookies. In addition to The Salty Donut participating as a vendor of their own through exclusive bake house items, additional vendors will include Palm Pike Apiary, Flor Morena, Buena Vista Candle Co, and Bloomwolf Studio. Visitors of Salty Sunday will be able to shop the above mentioned delicious baked treats from The Salty Donut, local honey, florals, illustrated artwork, and handmade candles.

Jason Odio, the restaurateur behind popular spots Baby Jane, Ariete and La Otra (previously Sidebar) is pleased to announce his latest culinary endeavor, Bebito’s, a dazzling Cuban-American café and bistro slated to open in January 2020 at the newly-renovated Flamingo Point (1504 Bay Road #106 Miami, Beach, 33139).  The team behind this new Miami Beach outpost includes all-star pastry chef Dallas Wynn and nationally renowned chef Henry Hane. Bebito’s will be both a neighborhood staple and Miami Beach dining destination. Chefs Wynn and Hane bring that same level of artistry and innovation to bistro classics and divine pastries that they have honed over the years to this new neighborhood cafe. Bebito’s Private Label signature blend is roasted locally in Miami featuring a powerful mix of Brazilian, Colombian and Ecuadorian beans. The brew will be offered in all traditional forms including a signature cafecito, traditional café con leche, and many more variations. Non-dairy customizations like almond and coconut milk are offered as well. The crave-worthy menu is comprised of items such as Chorizo Manchego Croquetas; Baked Egg with spinach, artichoke and cheese; Bebito’s Burger; Guava Miso Salmon Grain Bowl; Dallas’ Special Dulce de Leche Cookies; and a variety of Tostadas — Bebito’s version of a tartine with a Cuban twist.
