We’re not even going to get into the mess of what Thanksgiving would be if we used our kitchen. In theory, it sounds great, but after all the cooking, drinking and eating, who really wants to clean up? We don’t. Here are our recommendations for where to eat out with the fam on Thanksgiving Day in Miami.

1. Amara at Paraiso

What’s on the menu: Thursday’s Feastgiving Dinner menu will be offered la carte so no crazy commitments just lots of opportunities to indulge and enjoy. Highlights include memorable Thanksgiving Specialties like whole roasted heritage black turkey,  Fried turkey wings with sweet & sour aji chile sauce, scallion, toasted sesame, and grilled lime, as well as grilled 3 lb. Maine lobster with pumpkin seed butter and grilled lemon, and whole roasted calabaza squash filled with creamy calabaza rice, wild mushrooms, coconut pesto, and lime. Toast with festive, day drinking Thanksgiving cocktails for $14.

2. Cecconi’s

What’s on the menu: This year, Cecconi’s Miami, is celebrating the day by offering a festive feast including turkey and all the fixings, prime rib roasts, raw bar with stone crabs, truffled mashed potatoes, veggies, pecan pie, a selection of desserts and more. The feast will be $75/pp and will run until last seating at 4pm.

3. Upland

What’s on the menu: Enjoy an Upland-style Thanksgiving meal designed to perfection by Chef Justin Smillie! The California-inspired South of Fifth restaurant is excited to offer a Thanksgiving feast including a traditional turkey dinner for $55 per person featuring a coal-roasted turkey with green chili sugar and confit garlic beurre blanc, served with wood-fired autumn vegetables, Italian sausage stuffing, roasted brussels sprouts, pommes purée and cranberry relish, with a choice of pumpkin pie or apple crostata for dessert. 4. Market at EDITION

What’s on the menu:  Thursday, November 28. Gather around the Thanksgiving table at Market at The Miami Beach EDITION for a buffet-style meal. For $75 per person and $35 for children, the festive buffet will feature chefs carvings, seafood stations, and much more. Adults are also invited to take advantage of a Bloody Mary bar, a Mimosa bar, and a Wine bar, all for an additional $35 per person. Bottles of Veuve Clicquote, priced at $85 per bottle, is also available upon request. The buffet will be open for feasting from 12pm to 9pm.

5. Matador Room

What’s on the menu: Delight yourself and the rest of your family during this Thanksgiving at Matador Room at The Miami Beach EDITION. Stop by between 5:30pm and 11:30pm to indulge in a four-course, 12-dish, price fix menu that highlights some of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s signature Thanksgiving dishes. 6. Ariete

From 3PM to 10PM, diners can indulge in an all-you-can-eat buffet priced at $75 per adult and $35 per child under 10 years old, excluding tax and gratuity. Menu offerings include an assortment of Thanksgiving favorites and Chef Michael Beltran’s beloved family recipes with a contemporary twist. Guests can enjoy plates like smoked turkey legs; fried turkey breast; green bean casserole; cheddar and fresno cornbread; candied yams; pecan pie; goat cheese flan; apple streusel pie; and more. 7. CORSAIR Kitchen + Bar

What’s on the menu: Contemporary American restaurant CORSAIR kitchen + bar will offer a three-course all day (noon – 10PM) Thanksgiving menu with options that are sure to please everyone. Choice of appetizers includes calabaza soup, prosciutto & figs, seared sea scallops or sweet potato gnocchi; for entrees select roasted turkey breast with stuffing, buttermilk mash, green beans, cranberry sauce and gravy; stuffed roasted acorn squash, seared Chilean seabass or pan roasted filet mignon. 8. Isabelle’s Grill Room and Garden

What’s on the menu: The chic Coconut grove eatery is offering a prix fixe menu from 3PM-9PM with classic holiday dishes. Choice of starters are: bistro salad with duck prosciutto, local greens, turban squash, pomegranate, toasted seeds, mustard vinaigrette, and asiago cheese or butternut squash soup made with brown butter and topped with pepitas. The entrée is a young slow-roasted turkey accompanied by orange-glazed sweet potato with meringue, giblet gravy, cranberry orange dressing, cornbread, and chestnut stuffing. Traditional sides include whipped potato; green bean casserole and cornbread. Dessert is a fun sampling of Thanksgiving favorites with a flight of mini tarts: pecan chocolate, apple cobbler, and of course pumpkin.
