THE RIVER OYSTER BAR
Address: 33 SE 7th St Suite 100

The River Oyster Bar still remains one of Brickell’s original restaurants since 2003 with a location change just one block down.
It’s always been an extremely popular after-work spot for high-quality oysters and seafood and one of the best happy hours in the neighborhood.
We’d stop here for lunch with co-workers or clients when we have no intention of coming back to the office. We recommend walking to the River Oyster Bar if you plan to drink. However, if you’re looking for easy parking, go to Brickell City Centre.
Start your meal with some oysters, Goat Cheese Croquettes, or the Snapper Tartare with soy-yuzu dressing and wasabi tobiko. As a main, we recommend the Black Grouper or Butterflied Yellow-Tail Snapper simply grilled with a side of salsa verde and lemon butter. If you’re skipping the fish section, go for the Pot of Mussels in coconut milk lemon grass broth.

The menu includes all-day breakfast, smoothies, tacos, ceviche, and sandwiches. It’s also great for people-watching in Brickell.
Lunch can also be weekday brunch. If you’re into that get the Polanco Eggs that come sunny-side-up on a parmesan cheese crust with avocado and zaatar seasoning or the Grilled Fish Tacos marinated with chimichurri, homemade mayo, pickled veggies, and avocado.
PURA VIDA
Address: 1104 S Miami Ave

There are very few chains we speak about on The Hungry Post. However, when something is exceptional and local we make the exception. For a quick, and consistently delicious lunch, you’re going to Pura Vida.
Their Brickell location is one of fifteen in South Florida.
Yes, it’s pricey however the quality is in every dish and beverage served. You’re paying a premium for locally sourced and organic ingredients such as their free-range chicken with no antibiotics, pasture-raised eggs, and ethically sourced tuna.
You can pick up, order for delivery, or enjoy their indoor and outdoor space with a co-worker or a friend. We like to come here for a guilt-free meal when we’re sick of our Tupperware leftovers from home.
Favorite dishes include the Kale Cesar Wrap with their homemade Cesar dressing, the Toasted Chicken Wrap with the Pura Vida sauce, or if we’re feeling a salad we always go for Jen’s Herbs with apple cider vinaigrette. For dessert don’t skip the vegan, gluten-free, Almond Butter Energy Bites.

If you’re sick of all your usual lunch spots in Brickell, we have one you probably don’t know about. Momi Market by Michelin-starred Chef Takashi Terashima is your next lunch spot when craving traditional Japanese nigiri and don bowls.
The marketplace/fast casual concept is where we’d go with a friend or a co-worker that loves trying something different.
The menu features seasonal fish from Japan including Hokkaido uni, scallops, and large-eye kinmedai snappers.
Choose from a short menu of delicious Don bowls and nigiris. We recommend the Salmon Ikura Don with salmon sashimi & ikura over sushi rice or the Buta Kakuni Don with braised pork belly over rice.

So here’s another chain that was actually born in Germany and has a Miami cult following, particularly in Brickell.
Vapiano, a casual Italian restaurant that closed back in 2019 just re-opened two weeks ago in the same Brickell location.
You no longer have to stand around the different stations to get your food. The restaurant is now full-service, allowing you to sit back and wait for your meal to arrive at the table.
Get ready to personalize your lunch with handmade fresh pasta, pizza, sauces, dressings, and desserts. Looking for a shared appetizer? Go for the Lo Starppo. This dish is a stuffed pizza dough with mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce, and pepperoni with your choice of dipping sauce.
