An exclusive dining experience in Los Angeles presented by Mastercard

The Hungry Post Sit at the Bar Dinner Series, presented by Mastercard, spotlights some of the city’s best restaurant bars.

For those who enjoy being where the magic happens, this series is all about great food paired with handcrafted cocktails, while surrounded by good company and the bar’s incredible energy.

On Thursday, September 17, in partnership with Mastercard, we took over Uchi, one of West Hollywood’s trendiest restaurants located on Santa Monica Boulevard. Originally from Austin, Texas, Uchi presents a modern take on Japanese dining.

This Sit at the Bar dinner, exclusively for Mastercard cardholders, highlighted fresh seafood and local produce through hot and cold tastings, prosecco, and wine. The evening started with Japanese Tomato followed by Uchi’s Chirashi with Hokkaido uni, bluefin tuna, and ikura. The last dish was the Australian Wagyu beef with black summer truffle. To cap it all off, dessert included a Honey Toast paired with the cutest Mastercard-branded Espresso Martini.
